Every rotating machine needs bearings. But not every environment can tolerate the grease, oil, and regular maintenance that conventional bearings demand. In food processing lines, textile finishing machines, paper mills, and chemical plants, oil contamination is not just an inconvenience — it is a production quality failure, a hygiene risk, or a safety concern. Carbon rings and bearings were developed to solve exactly this problem.
For over 30 years, we have progressively developed and refined our range of carbon rings and bearings through ongoing research and real-world application experience. Today, our products are in regular service across power projects, chemical plants, food processing facilities, textile mills, and paper industry installations throughout India — delivering long, reliable, maintenance-free performance in applications where conventional bearing materials simply cannot be used.
What sets carbon apart from other bearing materials is a combination of properties that work together to deliver outstanding performance in demanding environments.
Carbon is inherently self-lubricating. Shafts running inside carbon bearings remain highly polished over time, with negligible wear at the contact surfaces — no grease schedule, no oil reservoir to maintain, and no risk of lubricant starvation causing premature failure.
Because carbon bearings need no oil or grease, there is nothing to migrate onto food products, fabric, paper, or process chemicals — the only viable bearing material in contamination-sensitive applications where a single grease smear can ruin an entire production batch.
Carbon does not react with acids, alkalis, steam, or the wide range of chemicals encountered in process industries. Bearings and rings retain their integrity even in aggressive chemical environments that would corrode or degrade metallic or polymer alternatives.
Carbon has high thermal conductivity, dissipating heat efficiently away from the bearing zone to protect both the bearing and the shaft, and maintains consistent dimensions across a wide temperature range to preserve correct shaft fit.
All of these properties combine to produce a bearing that simply lasts — outlasting conventional alternatives in comparable applications and significantly reducing total cost of ownership over time.
Each product in the range is built around the same self-lubricating, contamination-free material advantage, sized and configured for a different duty.
The core of our range, used across a wide spectrum of textile and food industry machinery. Manufactured to tight dimensional tolerances for accurate shaft support and consistent performance. In active daily service in Jigger machines, Drying Ranges, Soapers, Doll Head machines, J. Box machines, Rotary Joints, and Continuous Bleaching Plants across textile mills and process houses all over India.
Precision sealing components fitted inside rotary pressure joints, handling high pressure, elevated temperatures, and continuous rotational movement simultaneously. Used in rubber mixing roller mills, calendering machines, heated paper and textile cylinders, and similar rotating heat-transfer equipment. Self-seating and self-lubricating, with no requirement for maintenance or adjustment.
Designed specifically for paper industry applications, allowing installation and removal around an in-situ shaft without dismantling the surrounding machine assembly. The two-piece construction dramatically reduces maintenance time and downtime during replacement, while the precision fit of each half maintains full sealing performance during operation.
We manufacture carbon rings and bearings in four grades to match different operating conditions.
Improved fluid resistance and structural integrity for steam and liquid service.
Enhanced mechanical strength and thermal conductivity for heavy-duty bearing loads.
Specialist composite grade for elevated load-bearing applications.
Dependable, cost-effective performance for standard operating conditions.
Carbon rings and bearings are in service across a range of industries, each drawing on a different part of the product range.
